Thank you Gramophone for this great review of my new Romantic Piano Concerto album on Hyperion Records: “It’s hard to imagine it being better played than by these forces, Emmanuel Despax displaying a wide range of colours combined with an easy virtuosity ... It requires prodigious playing from soloist and orchestral musicians to make it sound as effortless as here, and that it does is tribute as much to conductor Eugene Tzigane as to Despax.”

Delighted to announce the release of my new Romantic Piano Concerto album for Hyperion Records! Featuring 2 beautiful concertos by Liszt students: Bronsart and Urspruch ; with the wonderful BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Eugene Tzigane. It was an amazing experience for me to explore uncharted territory of the romantic era. Thank you so much to everyone involved, Simon Perry and the whole Hyperion team, Simon Eadon and my dear producer Andrew Keener.
